About Megan

I am a degree qualified Naturopath and Nutritionist. Although I am not here to teach you how to cook (yet), I am also a qualified chef. I specialise in tailoring treatment plans that are achievable.

Often we feel overwhelmed by change, and so my focus is to work within your limitations in order to achieve long term success for your goals.

My foremost passion lays within encouraging others to change their lives in ways that brings them optimal health and joy. With each challenge in life, arises a new opportunity to learn and grow. Constantly discovering heathier and happier versions of ourselves.

Some Background

“I was blessed to grow up in a small country town in Tasmania, I had the joy of running wild in the wilderness – picking mushrooms after the sun followed the rain, running away from cows, pinching potato’s from the neighboring paddocks, stomping on icy puddles just for fun in my big black gumboots when frosts were in full force, and being scared to walk to the bus stop because plover’s were always on high alert.

All this childhood goodness has etched my love for nature and being outside with plants and animals. There’s no feeling more grounding than being amongst mother nature, creating your own play. One of my favourite memories is our big vegetable garden, preparing and eating food that we had grown ourselves, so satisfying!

Perhaps this is where my love for food began, my passion for cooking led me on after high school to train as a chef – working in the pub scene, wineries, café’s and then to some top class restaurants and private resorts. My career as a chef sparked the beginning of making “Favourite foods - reinvented”, essentially I started to create healthier versions of not-so-healthy dishes.

Eventually I became unhappy with the poor habits I’d gained as a chef. I was going to bed at 2am, working 12 hour days (through breaks usually) and eating on the run. I was tired, wired and miserable. None of this aligned with the healthy lifestyle I’d always strived for. This led me to studying Nutritional Medicine, a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy and the birth of Megan Jayne 360 Wellness!

I now continue to develop my professional education by attending natural health seminars and courses on a regular basis to grow my knowledge and to stay up to date with current research.

In a nutshell - I love nature, cooking, creating recipes, learning, and fitness (trail running in particular). I’m addicted to earrings, mascara and collecting herbal tea. I love Buddhism, spending time with friends and family (especially my granny) and giving people compliments”.
